During our music video we used a stereotypical job roles for women and as it develops we see a rebellion against them. On Wednesday 11th January we created an office set in the schools green screen room. This took around 10 minutes to set up and for this we used 2 blue separation screens, 2 exam tables put together, a computer chair, a laptop and accessories we could find around the room that you may find on a stereotypical office desk. Such as paperwork, candles, awards and plants. This was effective as we could use the blue boards to give the illusion of a boxed in office but it also blocks out the school setting so it looks professional.
This scene took around 15minutes to film and complete, we used the Canon 1300D with no tripod and just a table to keep it steady. To start with we did some test shots so we could all look and agree with the angles etc.
Close up voice over-
At the end of the music video there are lyrics in the style of a speech, therefore we came up with the idea that we would have an overlay of a close up doing this speech. We chose someone who wasn't presented in the full music video as she had nice teeth that would be presentable up close on screen. For this we used Alix Spencer who learnt the lyrics on the day and picked them up within 5 minutes. We played the music as she did it so she knew the ques and how to move her mouth. This meant that it was accurate during post production.
