Influences on the music video

Not only was our music video inspired by the original Little Mix Salute piece but we also took inspiration from others such as Beyonce.

Throughout our research we used written articles such as Media Magazine where Beyonce represents the war woman. Although we had already thought of this idea before seeing this, it gave us the indication that it was an appropriate idea as big stars were doing it too. This character represents strength of women throughout time as well as role models in this day and age.

Symbolism-

Throughout the music video you can see symbols drawn on the characters hands. We used the symbol that represents women to show empowerment which reflects the whole idea of the music video.

                                     

This will also be used to create our print articles in order to express the message before people even see the music video.

We also used a glode with the female symbol all over it as a signifier of women all over the world are uniting as one to go against the stereotypes. However it can also be interpreted as all women around the world are equal and are all capable of anything they want to do.
